Challenge:
Customer explored consolidation of all facilities trades vendors to drive savings and required standardization of service quality to enhance brand image. Many long-term vendors and relationships were in place with the customer. No uniform system was being used to provide quality control feedback or performance metrics.
Solution:
KBS developed and deployed a standard scope of work for landscaping, parking lot sweeping and snow removal. KBS also instituted a monthly site inspection program through its unmatched field support team. KBS’s large and fully vetted vendor network was contracted to provide services to all sites. The KBS Customer Service team monitored service delivery to maximize store level satisfaction.
Results:
KBS delivered standardized exterior services across the customer’s national portfolio. The program rollout was accomplished in a short amount of time with no service interruption, and the consolidated services resulted in a 10 percent savings. The customer has greater visibility into service delivery at the site level thanks to monthly site inspection reports and photos.
