The city of New Orleans keeps hosting big events – and KBS is there to clean up after each one.
The latest example was during the recent NCAA Final Four Weekend, when more than 300 KBS crew members helped clean up during and after each of the big college basketball games at Caesar’s Superdome, not far from the banks of the Mississippi River.
The action started on Saturday, April 2, when Kansas beat Villanova and North Carolina upset Duke. During the championship game on Monday, Kansas mounted an historic comeback victory over North Carolina, 72-69.
KBS helped clean up the restrooms during the games, and then provided additional janitorial services after each contest. Saturday’s games drew a total of 70,602 people, while 69, 423 fans attended the title game. The cleanup efforts were a big success (see pics below).
This is not the first time KBS has managed a major post-party cleanup. A few weeks earlier, KBS managed cleanup services for Mardi Gras in the French Quarter and along Canal Street, something it does every year. Read our blog, “How KBS Manages the Mother of all After-Party Cleanups: Mardi Gras” for more details.
KBS has a long history of supporting the local New Orleans community, including helping the city clean up after both Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and, more recently, Hurricane Ida.
KBS also provides janitorial services for NFL games at the Superdome and NBA games at the adjacent Smoothie King Center.
