KBS managers saw Maritza Ascencio Urbina’s potential almost right from the beginning: her store was always clean, her immediate managers loved her, and they never heard anything but positive things. So, when an opening for a Zone Manager in Southern California opened up, it did not take long for Maritza’s name to come up.
“I didn’t believe it at first, but I thought this was my opportunity to grow,” she said of getting offered the promotion. “It was crazy that day, but I accepted, and here I am now.
